Nuff said. I’ve cut out Alcohol , Smoking, Juices, Sugars, junk food etc from my diet. I’m desparate to get a little normalcy – enough to just drink Diet Coke or Coke Zero perhaps? Is this safe for Type 2 diabetes? If yes – then in what amounts?

I have gestational diabetes and ive been drinking diet coke what i would like to know is if that’s ok to drink?

Yes it is perfectly fine to drink but just don’t let it be the only thing you drink. Drink milk, juice, water and whatever else you OB/GYN tells you to drink. Congrats and Good Luck

Question by Julia.: When you got diagnosed with diabetes did you get addicted to Diet Coke or Pepsi max or something?
Pretty much straight after I was diagnosed I got addicted to diet coke and now I can not stop drinking it! It seems that heaps of people with diabetes get addicted to diet coke, so I wanted to hear from alll those who do so we can all die of brain tumours together. Hehe.

nope – I try to only have 1 soda a week

so I drink water and tea – - –

time to go cold turkey – Q U I T !
if you notice – having one soda
makes you thirsty, again, for another
