A doctor told me he wants me to be checked for diabetes. If anyone out there has diabetes can you tell me what some of your symptoms were. When you read an article on it, it sounds like anything is a symptom. Do you just go to your general doctor to be tested? Is it a blood test?

i was taking a bladder infection medicine the last week, and one of the possible(yet rare) symptoms was low blood sugar. i felt all of a sudden hungry a couple times, and felt dizzy and shaky also. i stopped taking it yesterday but i still felt dizzy for a short while today! 1) even though medicine was out of my system, was the dizziness today still from the medicine? 2)should i check my blood at the doctors tomorrow or just wait and hope this is all just because of the medicine, and is not actually diabetes??
my bladder infection should be gone, ive been taking the medicine for a week. and im getting my *** tested tomorrow to make sure, but i dont know if i should do a blood test. im not pregnant, im only 17. i get frequent bladder infections due to spina bifida.

Ok i just took a blood test 2 weeks ago it was 112 after non-fasting. I am currently cutting down on sugary foods and am excercising everyday. I have an overactive bladder but not excessevely thirsty (thankyou jesus). Ok i just want to know that do you have to experience all the symptoms to have diabetes?? Pay attention to the word all……..

im not out of my mind. you see, my friend is supposed to go for the militaries. he is weak and not capable of the harsh training. the only way he could get out from it is if he had a sickness or something.
