I have an eleven year old Lhasa Apso who has been diagnosed with diabetes on Friday. Her sugar level is 324. I’ve heard about other diabetic dogs who died in a year or six months after being diagnosed. I’m really worried. If anyone has experience or knowledge about caring for a diabetic pet I would love to hear it.
I love this girl, so I do not want anything happening to her. Besides constantly reminding her to check her bloodsugar, is there anything else I can do to help her out in any way? I’ve read quite a bit about Diabetes, so I know some things about it. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
My really close friend was just diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and she is only 14 is in really bad condition. I really want to help her but I don’t know what to do or how to approach her about her obesity. I any of you have advice I would greatly appreciate it.
I only have a little over one month of pregnancy to go but I want to take care of myself and baby. I would also like advice on what to do after pregnancy to continue care of myself since this increased my already higher risk of type 2 diabetes later in life due to heredity and obesity. I already know lose weight.
Thanks.
