I am not too sure that will cause it but i know that is one of the signs of it.
no it cant cause diabetes but it sure doesnt help to do either..you get worn down and that could lead to other problems that could aggravate a diadetic problem
It doesn’t cause diabetes, it’s a SYMPTOM of diabetes. I myself have the disease and I needed a lot of rest initially.
I have read that too LITTLE sleep can cause the body to produce higher levels of cortisol, which encourages your body to store fat. As we all know, storing excess body fat can lead to Type II diabetes.
I don’t think it can cause diabetes one way or another but it can certainly be a sign of diabetes.
I have never heard of that. I know that it has a lot to do with genetics and diet. My father came down with diabetes when he was 17 so I have dealt with diabetes all my life. I even took Diabetic classes that covered Juvenile and type 2 when I was fifteen, and I have never heard of that before.Being extremely tired can be a sign that your sugar is too high in type 2 and either to high or low in Juvenile, but causing it sounds really kooky to me. Have you heard the one yet where if you eat more of the right fat it will lower your cholesterol ?? LOL
Too much (excess) of sleep and too less are equally BAD. The former has greater chances of developing diabetes, as it results in increase and lack of physical activity.
Due to lack of sleep you are liable to feel tired and stressed up, stress can give rise to multiple diseases e.g hypertension, diabetes.
So sleep according to your need (varies from person to person), depending upon your physical & mental need.
Exercise.
Control diet & alcohol.
Watch out for family history of diabetes.(but not necessarily)
Keep a tight schedule of your sleeping time.
Remember the old saying EARLY TO BED AND EARLY TO RISE KEEPS/MAKES ONE HEALTHY WEALTHY AND WISE.
Hope answered your question in summary.
I think its the other way around. Diabetes can cause disruptions in sleep patterns.
It is unlikely that your sleep pattern can cause diabetes.
Diabetes, however, can effect your sleep pattern. You will become drowsy if your sugar is too high. Also, diabetics that I know sometimes discover that MSG in foods acts like a sleeping pill, putting them out quick.
