ooh jeeze it was a long speech.
basically he was describing the night he got diagnosed, the life of diabetes, how you cant let little issues like that slow you down. keep going. it was an inspirational speech. and he said that many fans have told him that he is an inspiration to them, and that A Little Bit Longer is inspirational, and he said that the fans are his inspiration, yadda yadda yadda.. and he went on about how important us fans are to him.
I loved that concert to pieces.
It was a very awesome speech. did you not hear the whole thing or something?
I was in tears. it was just so sweet and all of his soul was poured out into that speech. I couldn’t hold back the tears. he was crying too i think.
He was talking about how 4 years ago he got diagnosed with diabetes and that he was in the hospital the night before a concert. He talked about how scared he was and that he thought that it was the end of the road for him. So he went and asked his mom if he was going to die. She said no and told him that he would just have to learn how to take care of it. He said that he wrote A Little Bit Longer on the set of Camprock at their hotel, because he said it was one of those days when his blood sugar was a little bit out of control. So on he way back to his hotel he passed this ballroom that had a grand piano in the middle of it. So he sat down and wrote the song.
I think when ever he talks about it he gets teary eyed, cuz when i was at the concert in Portland he was defiantly crying a little, while he was talking about it. That was one of the best speeches ever!! It had me crying for 10 min strait. I was balling my eyes out. The way he worded it was just fantastic.
I love Nick Jonas he’s my favorite out of all 3 brothers. He’s such an inspiration to me and i think he makes a great role model.
