Type 1 Diabetes is usually diagnosed at a young age. It is the result of your pancreas no longer being able to do its job (because of a virus or some other cause).
Type 2 Diabetes is usually diagnosed at an older age as the result of obesity. Because of the large number of fat cells in your body, they become resistant to insulin (even though your pancreas is still producing an adequate amount).
first, they are totally separate diseases.
Type 2 is from beig overweight and not controlling a healthy diet and lifestyle. these people usually take pills because their bodies dont use their insulin correctly but they still make the insulin in most cases
Type 1 is auto-immune and you usually get it when you are younger in age and there is no preventing it whatsoever. these people give themselves injections of insulin because their bodies dont make insulin anymore. i have type 1 =] / =/
and NO, type 2 cant lead to type 1
In type 1, the pancreas stop producing insulin, due to autoimmune response or possibly viral attack on pancreas. In absence of insulin, body cells does not get glucose for producing ATP (Adenosin Triphosphate) units which results into primary symptom in the form of nausea and vomiting. In latter stage which leads to ketoacidosis in which body starts breaking down muscle tissue and fat for energy, there is consequently fast weight loss. Dehydration is also usually observed due to electrolyte disturbance. In advance stages even coma and death, are being witnessed.
In type 2 your become insulin resistant or not enough insulin or both.
Starting to not be that way now. Usually type 2 is associated with obesity. So before children were not as fat as now. Hence The less fat kid got type 1. Or juvenile diabetes.>
Your query is answered well in answer 1 above. But, please note the general belief that Diabetes is always due to short of Insulin is not correct. In majority of cases, it can be due to Metabolism syndrome, when the body cells have become resistant to adopt the insulin or the insulin has become non-effective. In such cases, the herbs for correction of digestion system will be helpful. One such herb available and used in India is Piper Cabeba.( commonly known as Sheetal Chini).
Though this is time-tested, we can also consult our physicians.

Diabetes are of two types type I where no insulin is produced in your body.and type II where insulin is produced but not properly utilized in our blood stream.Insulin keeps the blood sugar level in check. So In type i diabetes its injected into the blood stream .Where as in type II doctors advice oral in take of drugs that makes the insulin produced in pancreas to work properly.
Type II is generally noticed on the on set of Middle age.But Type I can affect small children and can be genetic.Regular exercise,Yoga and keeping the sugar level in control by regular medical check ups can keep the complications at bay.
