In Adults over 40 (but not always) Blurred vision, Consatant thirst followed by Frequent urineation usually at nite time. Consatant tiredness and circulation problems ( legs and arms tingle or are cold. have your blood sugars checked. being over weight compounds the problem
if you have wound that takes longer to heal.. did you notice if you pee, ants gather at your waste later… that was the sign i think…
costant ********* and chronic thirst
Frequent *********
Excessive thirst
Extreme hunger
Unusual weight loss
Increased fatigue
Irritability
Blurry vision
light headedness, weak feeling not wanting to do anything during the day, the are alot of them and if you think you may have this then yuo should get it takin care of right away
Some symptoms may be drinking tons of water. by that I means continually drinking and drinking. Another symptom may be frequent *********. You may want to check with your doctor and you may need to take insulin.
THESE ARE THE SYMPTOMS
Excessive thirst (Polydipsia): The body tries to compensate for the excess sugar in the blood stream via a homeostatic mechanism in which the body tries to dilute the excess sugar in the blood by adding water. A signal is sent to the brain to encourage consumption of water. This signal is the sensation of excessive thirst.
Excessive eating or hunger (Polyphagia): The body tries to secrete more and more insulin to combat excessive sugar levels. Insulin can stimulate hunger.
Excessive ********* (Polyuria): The body tries to rid the excess sugar in the body through *********. The excessive ********* often leads to severe dehydration.
Other Symptoms:
Unexpected weight loss: Weight loss is often seen due to inadequate processing of meals. This occurs even though you are feeling hunger and eating normally. The loss of sugar, water and electrolytes in the urine also contribute to unexplained weight loss.
Fatigue: The inefficient use of glucose for fuel often triggers feelings of fatigue. Without sufficient energy from proper glucose metabolism, the body starts to use other sources such as fat. This requires a further expenditure of energy to allow the body to fully function.
Mental abnormalities: Mental status abnormalities include irritability, agitation, lethargy and confusion. These changes need immediate medical attention.
Infections: A combination of immune system suppression and the love of certain bacteria for glucose can trigger increased infection. Common places of infections include the skin, the urinary tract and the genitals. Also associated with immune suppression is poor wound healing.
Other symptoms: Other common symptoms of diabetes include blurred vision, headaches, loss of consciousness (this is very infrequent), numbness and/or tingling of the extremities, and impotency.
HOPE THIS HELPS!
My husband has recently been diagnosed with diabetes and we did not know that he had diabetes but he had frequent urination, increased thurst, was very tired all times of the day, and also a decreased sex drive. Not to mention sort of like an acne out break on like his back and such. I hope this helps.

What is diabetes?
Diabetes is a disorder of metabolism–the way our bodies use digested food for growth and energy. Most of the food we eat is broken down into glucose, the form of sugar in the blood. Glucose is the main source of fuel for the body.
After digestion, glucose passes into the bloodstream, where it is used by cells for growth and energy. For glucose to get into cells, insulin must be present. Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas, a large gland behind the stomach.
When we eat, the pancreas automatically produces the right amount of insulin to move glucose from blood into our cells. In people with diabetes, however, the pancreas either produces little or no insulin, or the cells do not respond appropriately to the insulin that is produced. Glucose builds up in the blood, overflows into the urine, and passes out of the body. Thus, the body loses its main source of fuel even though the blood contains large amounts of glucose.
I agree with Pastor Hayne. My ex husband has it and hes not over weight.Your feet began to give you trouble also.Your ***** becomes very raw also..
Yes, increased ********* is a symptom of diabetes, whether you’re an adult, a child, or anywhere in between. It can also be a symptom of other things.
Do yourself a big favor, and see a doctor. If it is diabetes, the sooner you know, the better. If it’s not diabetes, the sooner you know, the better.
I was diagnosed with Type I diabetes when I was 13 (32 years ago). I was very ill and weak by the time it was diagnosed. Last September, my younger son (13) started complaining about having to use the bathroom at school a lot. After this continued for a couple days, we took him to the doctor. The doctor’s first impression was that my son did not have diabetes, since he seemed too “healthy”. But a simple blood test revealed the truth–he has diabetes.
It’s never pleasant to find out you have (or your child has) a life-long disease, but I’m very glad we found out early. My son was back to normal very quickly, and he’s been able to adjust to checking his blood sugar and taking insulin without much hassle.
Of course, if you see the doctor, and find out that nothing is wrong, you have peace of mind.
