Yes it is perfectly fine to drink but just don’t let it be the only thing you drink. Drink milk, juice, water and whatever else you OB/GYN tells you to drink. Congrats and Good Luck

sure, diet coke is sweetened with the artificial sweetener aspartame although I think they have recently switched to sucralose (splenda). Diet coke doesn’t contain real sugar (sucrose) so it won’t mess with your glucose levels in your blood. But I recommend that you not depend on diet coke for hydration. Make sure you are staying hydrated with water.
You can count 8 fluid ounces of these sugar-free or unsweetened drinks as one snack:
* Club soda
* Carbonated or mineral water
* Broth, bouillon, or consommes (also the low-salt varieties).
You should also drink a lot of water while you are pregnant with gestational diabetes.
yep any ‘diet’ drink is fine to drink! if you’re unsure check the carb content. they should all say 0!
just don’t binge on it like i do! or you’ll have tummy problems!
