I love how everyone they show is overweight. Us type 1s do not get this from being overweight.

I went to one of these types of classes and made a mention that a recent report came out that said getting one’s stomach stapled is an all-around good thing for people overweight and suffering from diabetes.
The instructor replied that to get one’s stomach stapled would require an operation. And I thought, “It’s better to do that and be done with it than have to do all this monitoring and needle pricking and paying for medicines for the rest of my life.”
Oh well, gotta die anyway…….
My grandfather HAD type 2 diabetes and after following a strict diet for a couple years (I think it was the south beach diet) guess what, HE NO LONGER HAS TYPE 2 DIABETES!!! This was confirmed by his doctors!
