Just because people in your family have it does not mean that you will get it . Everyone has a gene to get diabetes , and sometimes it doesn’t get triggered , and they don” get it . Viruses and even stress are triggers for Type 1 Diabetes . But you cannot get diabetes from eating to much candy or sugar . I have Type 1 Diabetes and nobody else in my family has it . So do not worry , oh , nooo asthma has abosultely nothing to do with asthma .
