my total weight gain for 39 weeks was 50 lbs when i had gestational diabetes. but they put me on insulin, and a diet so i gained a lot of weight, i wouldn’t worry about not gaining any weight these last 4 weeks most women gain 25 to 30lbs their whole pregnancy so.
Don’t worry about gaining anymore weight. The deal is usually to keep the baby from gaining too much weight that it can’t get through your birth canal. Just keep up the good work.
if you are overweight, you don’t have to worry about not gaining weight during pregnancy if you’re following the gestational diabetic diet – the diet is taking off the fat, but your baby is still getting the nutrition it needs.
It varies from woman to woman.
I lost around 15lbs with my son. Once I gained back to my prepregnancy weight my total weight gain from there was only 9lbs. I was on insulin for Gestational Diabetes with him
With this pregnancy I’ve lost 16lbs, I’ve recently gained 2-3 but not close to my prepregnancy weight yet.
