Tiffany W asked:
I’m 16. Today I drank a big glass of water and then I would *** about every 5 minutes and it would be a lot of urine. I haven’t been overly thirsty, but for the past couple of days, I feel tired even though I get about 9-10 hours of sleep. Also, if I stand up too fast, I feel dizzy and lightheaded. And I sometimes feel weak.

I am not in the best of shape and a little overweight. I have been exercising more lately, though.
Am I showing symptoms of diabetes?

Best way to be certain is to get tested for diabetes. Your local health clinic would be able to test you.
Well I suppose anything is possible, and its better to be safe than sorry, but you could also be experiencing any number of other things. That is why if you are truly concerned, you should see your dr.
Other possibilities:
You could be anemic. This means you are iron deficient, which could make you feel dizzy and weak.
You could be consuming more diuretics than you think. Coffee? Tea? Soda? Chocolate? Caffeine? New pills?
You could also be dehydrated. It’s not just the amount of urine, but the color as well. You want to aim for a clean to slightly yellow color. Yellow to dark yellow means you are not consuming enough water.
You could be feeling weak from other changes in your body, such as changes in hormone levels, stress, etc. You are 16, and your body is changing – to be hallmarky about it.
Your symptoms seem to indicate low blood glucose. The previous answerer was correct in recommending a blood test for yourself through a physician for diabetes, but if I had to place a bet, I’d say it isn’t diabetes, just a change in your exercise pattern. Good luck.
NO I DONT THINK UR A BUDDING DIABETIC,DIABETICS DRINK LOTS OF WATER WHEN THEIR BLOOD SUGAR LEVELS ARE HIGH, TO GET RID OF “KEYTONES”, AND IF YOU DRINK A LOT, YOU *** A LOT , LIKE THE REST OF US,PROB YOUR GOING THRU PUBERTY,(GROWING PAINS) DONT WORRY IT,LL BE OVER IN 10/20 YEARS?
