I’ve read pros and cons on Dr. Faustman’s research, but to me she’s an angel of hope for diabetics. My immediate concern as a mother is that the natural insulin? is no longer available in America, so many diabetics have to import? their insulin from Canada and England. I will have no faith in the Health Care Business? in America,? until they make the natural pork and beef insulin available to all the diabetics who need it to survive and have quality of life.

@lmcwhae Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune condition. 3 month old children? get diabetes. Coke caused neither of these.
So wtf does this have to do with a cure? Don’t? put “cure” in the title if it has nothing to do with a cure. Im a type 1 diabetic, and im very skeptical of doing what my doctors tell me.They want me taking 4+ injections a day, using as many test strips, lancets, needles, and insulin as humanly possible. This is because the companies that make those things want MONEY. If a cure is found, which it has been, those companies will make sure it isnt accessible for a LONNNNGG time. My last A1C: 5.1

Softglow, you are absolutley right, I was puzzled by the opening statement made. However, it is important to understand that anything we consume from a plant whether? we lable it a “fat”, “carb” or “protein” does contain sugar at some level via the photosynthesis process. Furthermore, proteins can actually turn into sugar. The glucose-alanine cycle explains why it is possible to have an elevated blood glucose while eating essentially only meat and fat. But as you said, the key is healthy eating!
