TòM! asked:
Ok I am 13 and I love soft drink. I am not fat or anything, actually quite skinny, 50 kilograms.
I get a fair amount of exercise and I do eat healthy, no fastfood (maybe once a month if I am lucky).
I think today I had three 220ml glasses today.

No you wont get diabetes from this diet, but it does sound unhealthy for you to be drinking that much soft drink a day. How about finding something sweet, but maybe with less sugar, to subsitute your soft drink habit. Like a juice you find appealing, it would be much healthier and better for you then the soft drink. But if you think your not ready to jump that far ahead, and go straight to the juice; then why not try a sparkeling juice. Like sparkeling lemonade or orange juice. That why you are slowly progressing down from drinking the soft drink with lots of sugar, towards what is better for your health, the juice. If sparkeling soda/juice doesnt appeal to your tastes then why not try sprinkling a little bit of extra sugar in your juice (if the sweet is the taste you like). I really hope i helped! Because a diet like this can eventually start to effect your life (sleeping, etc.)
acquired diabetes is a real thing diabetes type 2, this happens where the production of glucagon and insulin is sporadic due to a diet of sugar highs and lows. The pancreas will eventually give up trying to keep your sugar levels constant and there u go type 2 diabetes
And alot of high sugar drinks such as you drink can cause type 2 diabetes
Soft drinks contain far too much sugar that will ruin your health for 146 reasons that are listed in .
You are unlikely to get diabetes at your young age from soft drinks but as you get older you need to become more health conscious, particularly when you approach middle age (40-59). That is often when your real health problems start if you don’t look after yourself.
Change regular soda for diet soda. Yes if you drink a lot of sugary drinks you can get diabetes. Perhaps not now but when your an adult over 30. And once you get it you can’t change it, you’ll need to take medication from there on. My mother isn’t fat nor as she ever been and she has it. She used to like sweets. Years ago the doctor warned her, she didn’t change and now she has to take medication.
yes friend u may be diabetic because soft drinks are stilulated insuline ……………………..for more information contact
