You have posted the question again 112 mg/dl random is the normal blood glucose value. You should go for OGTT which will confirm whether you are normal , prediabetic or diabetic
as prevention is better than cure.

I was talking to a pharmacist yesterday that said his son wsa found to be a type one diabectic at 17 years old.. so I would say a 18 year old could too…
my 8 year old is type one and no one else has ever had it..
My husband was adopted and as an adult, he got diabetes Type 1 which is insulin dependant. He doesn’t feel he will live past 55 and is only 38 years of age. He got it when he was 21.
you poor thing, i know= what your joking threw i was 18 when i got insulin dependant diabetes, i found it very difficult to deall with, also none of my family had it either not even grandparents, im bit confused do howe is your sugar 112 the higest it can up in my computer is 20
Sure. Type 1 Diabetes can happen even later in adulthood, actually. It’s most commonly diagnosed in younger children, but there still the chance of developing it later. I had a physician friend who was diagnosed with Type 1 in her 30′s. I’ve had patients in their 40′s get Type 1. So it’s possible.
With a fasting of 112, I would get a Glucose Tolerance Test to see what is happening.
Yes, it is possible. I was 18 when diagnosed. My eyesight changed dramatically because glucose was building up inside my eyes, blood sugar level was more like 400 by the time I got to a doctor, was going to the bathroom every hour on the hour. 112 doesn’t sound that awful to me, but only your doctor can tell you what is going on.
Yes, I got it at age 22, but in your case 112 really is not that high. An overactive bladder 2 weeks ago is not really enough to suggest diabetes in my opinion.
Type 1 diabetes can happen at any age. If you think you have it you need to go to your doctor for a proper test. Here’s more info:
