Allie! Excellent video! I’ve been diabetic since the age of 7 – have had the D for 42 years – and am living a good life still! Education is a big factor in living healthy – and like you say – it’s made me into a better person! Keep on spreading the word!
my message wasn’t meant to be a complaint about having diabetes. it has absolutely made me a better person and helped shape the person i am today. and i’m thankful for that. but i would like to see a cure and be free from it one day

The irony is, most Type 1diabetics now are in better shape then your average person without.
With the intro of designer faster acting insulins, poor glucose control is quite literally a thing of the past. Remove the cause of complications, and you will see much less, or none at all.
Yes you get used to it, don’t resist it, ask what you can learn from it, it can set you free. You can do it as I have
